Our Story

The company is the brainchild of Emma Thompson and Rachel Bond, who formed a friendship while both working for the same print company.

Carrying out their day job alongside each other gave them plenty of time realise how much they liked the same things and what an important role art played in their lives.

Emma has worked in the print industry for 28 years and is a mum to twins along with being passionate about football – playing it, watching it, cheering on her kids.

Now you’d think that would be enough to fill anyone’s day but not for Emma, who has now launched Tickled Prints with Rachel.

It started off as a personal project just for Emma as she wanted some artwork to brighten up her garden, but couldn’t find anything she liked.

Emma wanted something that would reflect her sense of humour and personality, so reached out to Rachel who created the designs and they both loved them.

Thinking that would be an end to it, every time Emma had friends over, they would ask where she had got the pieces from, and Emma realised that it might be something that they could develop further.

The combination of Emma’s creativity and Rachel’s design skills seemed to be the perfect pairing and the two set about building their portfolio.

Rachel is equally as passionate about art and design, with a Graphic Design background and over 10 years in the industry. Her sarcastic sense of humour and creative design skills just adds to the sense of fun throughout each piece of artwork for the pair.

The duo believe that they've produced a range of designs which will make people smile but will also really enhance any living space.
